Our board and train kamps tend to be the tool that our clients are looking for to begin accomplishing their training goals.  Clients choose our kamps for many reasons – they may not have enough time to devote to training, are going away on vacation and want their dog trained while they are gone, or simply want to maintain the training their dog has already accomplished.  We offer 1, 2 or 3 week board and train kamps.  We also offer daily board and train kamps for those weekend getaways.  Each weekly kamp program includes a follow up in home lesson to transfer the behaviors learned to the owner.

• Daily Board and Train Kamp - While your dog is being boarded they will have the opportunity to work on behaviors during their stay.  A maximum of 3 behaviors can be focused on.  Examples of behaviors to be worked on can include: chewing, sit, down, leash walking, place and stay, etc. Follow up lesson is an extra charge.

• One Week Board and Train Kamp - Is designed to start training a new behavior or fix a behavior that has broken down.  Owners can pick up to 3 behaviors: basic, advanced obedience behaviors or tricks as agreed upon. One follow up lesson is included.

 

• Two Week Board and Train Kamp - Is the same as a one week kamp, however, owners can pick up to 6 behaviors: basic or advanced behaviors or tricks as agreed upon and two follow up lessons are included.

• Three Week Board and Train Kamp - In this three week program, your dog will learn its manners in a home atmosphere.  These house manners include: housebreaking (ring a bell to go outside), toy play (playing with appropriate objects/no chewing), crate training, barking and sit for attention (no jumping).  They will also learn their basic obedience behaviors which include: name recognition, sit, down, stay, wait, leash walking and come.

• Socialization Kamp - This 8 or 4 hour kamp is designed to work only on socialization skills between dogs.  This kamp focuses on socialization between dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes in a controlled environment.  It will help your timid dog become more confident and teach your dominate dog to be more subdude when playing with others.

• Puppy Kamp - Are you having trouble with your puppy play biting, chewing, whining/barking, and housebreaking? The Puppy Board and Train Kamp is designed for getting your puppies off on the right paw.  This introductory 5 day kamp is designed for puppies younger than 16 weeks of age focusing on the importance of the imprinting period and the very beginning basics. This Kamp focuses on the puppy issues at hand: mouthing, play biting, crate training, whining/crying, toy play, socialization and the beginnings of housebreaking.  It’s perfect for those who may need help at the start but don’t want to miss out on the milestones of puppyhood.
